Orange Cat Comic (AKA Reclaiming Heathcliff) By Godahl Drury. A semi realistic picture of an orange cat is on the cover.
Noteworthy Heathcliff character Iggy says to his Grandpa, who has Heathcliff the cat resting on his head, Grandpa, did you ever notice Heathcliff the cat is the only one of use that doesn't talk?
Heathcliff responds: I do talk.
And my name isn't Heathcliff, it's Catherine.
Catherine looks directly at the camera and says, I'm gay, trans, and a communist.
Furthermore, immediately after the events of every single comic, I whip out a huge weed bong and get high on weed.
Iggy shouts happily, Wow Catherine! I knew you smoked weed, but I didn't know any of the other stuff. Catherine makes the Dreamworks face at him and pulls out a bong.
Narration text: Man, Creator's Syndicate is really leaving money on the table by not making calendars out of Heathcliff comics, huh? Fuck Elon Musk (unrelated). Heathcliff is in the corner thinking to himself: Lasagna.

Made in 2022 after an interview with Heathcliff writer Peter Gallagher in which he said he was a big fan of Dave Chapelle. I feel like it doesn't *necessarily* follow from that that he's a transphobe, but I figure it was better to start reclaiming his characters now, just in case. I tried to emulate Peter's art style for this comic, and I feel like I landed pretty far off, but it's not like his own imitation of George Gately's style was that great anyway.

Sly Cooper's been cancelled forever. So now what? By Godahl Drury. Sly Cooper lies down alone in a desert.
Sly Cooper looks at a cell phone that says: November 1. Sly says, well, I guess that's that. Heh. I guess it was always a bit implausible that I'd be back. Sly Cooper is sitting alone in a desert, next to some pyramids.
Sly Cooper continues: Really, it was nice of them to give me so many second chances. Especially after the remasters and the 4th game didn't sell too good.
Really, I'm grateful. A smile. But I'm glad... it's over. Sly begins to glow. Because I'm finally free.
Sly bursts forth in fantastic light. Finally, they say, I can be anyone I want. Love anyone I want. Touch anyone I want.
Sly's hair grows long and flowery, and a dress appears around her waist. Bound no longer by a corporation's idea of branding, she says, I can finally do everything I ever thought I wanted to do.
In a way... Sly says, now fully transitioned into a woman, my future's never been brighter.

I set up this comic to be done right around when the announced release date for the Sly Cooper TV show was supposed to air--obviously, it never happened, and it looks like it never will. This remains the most probable future for the series.

How I played Pokemon when I was eleven years old, by Godahl Drury. Image shows a Clefairy in a brown leather jacket.
A Pokemon trainer calls out, Pinser, use Guillotine! The trainer's Pinsir then attempts to use Guillotine on a Dragonite, but misses.
The trainer says, Okay, maybe use... but the Clefairy from the cover appears behind them, and says: No. Use Guillotine Again!
The trainer says, Uh okay. Guillotine? The Pinser uses Guillotine again, and misses. The trainer says to Clefairy: I don't think this is going to work, Clefairy. The Clefairy responds: Send me out, then.
The trainer says: Are you sure you don't want me to use one of these Gen 1 bug types instead? Clefairy yells: No! Me!
The trainer says, Well, head out there... I used the Psychic TM on you, so you should be able to... Clefairy interrupts them. That's cute, she says. Listen, she continues, we are doing this one of two ways: My way, or not at all. The trainer staggers a bit, and says, Okay so uh... Metronome?
Clefairy says: Heh. Aw yeah. Clefairy uses Metronome and uses Ember. Clefairy uses Metronome and uses Tail Whip. Clefairy uses Metronome and uses Self Destruct. She explodes, while the trainer looks on with a receding hairline.

I really liked Clefairy as a kid.

Crime and Crowds. A Sly Cooper fan zine. By Godahl Drury
Sly Cooper is pickpocketing some people in a crowd. He thinks: Rich folk don't rob grocery stores.
Sly continues to steal wallets. He thinks: Don't open safes whose owners snore.
Sly thinks: They're cared for by the law.
Sly: I don't profit off of wars
Nor subjugate the hungry poor.
Yet I'm a criminal, Sly thinks, as a fellow thief gives him a gift made up of various stolen items.

This is a Sly Cooper comic from 2018 or so. I used to be a big fan of Sly Cooper, to the point where I based my own characters off of him. This is an early attempt at the style that would later become the Lizzie Smithson aesthetic, before I'd decided I'd rather do this kind of thing with my own characters.

Very Old--Not Sure What Year
Sonic is holding a glass of water. Ah, he says, time to enjoy a refreshing glass of water! Sonic throws the entire glass into his mouth and begins chewing it. The end.
I found this comic while clearing out my old Tumblr, and I figured I'd preserve it just because.
